Abstract

Regular expressions are powerful but complex tools and require a thorough understanding to be used effectively. It is common for students to experience some challenges with the construction of regular expressions as well as with the recognition of the set of strings that are evaluated through them. This is the reason for the development of project ReExpres: a tutor for regular expressions.
