Abstract

Some of you might know that I was a member of the launch team that sent Apollo 11 on its way to the moon in 1969. July of 2019 is the 50th anniversary of that momentous event. I have elected to use the occasion to reflect on one of the personal and professional implications of having participated in a major historical event.
