Abstract

Relational turning points (RTPs) are pivotal events or occurrences that impact the development of relationships over time. This study represents patients’ and spouses’ experiences of the journey with cancer and salient points of needed intervention. Awareness of RTPs can help healthcare providers provide better psychosocial support to couples through their cancer experience.
