Abstract
Measurements of the electronic relaxation dynamics of the vanadium Met-Car cluster were performed. A consistent picture of an excited electronic state lying approximately 2 eV above the ground state was made. It was found that through slight adjustments of photon energy, it is possible to see the evolution of the Met-Car dynamics as they proceed from the narrow transient widths, when populating for above the aforementioned state, to the longer lived dynamics which become very evident under near resonant conditions.
