Abstract
The research commentary on workflow management issues in e-business was presented. The trends towards increased business process automation, e-commerce and e-business led to an increased interest in the field of workflow management. Research analysis showed that the workflow systems in the context of e-commerce represent a fertile area of research for information systems (IS) professionals with several interesting and challenging problems.
