Abstract

The Bragg wavelength regime of an axially excited, chiral sculptured thin film is shown to contain resonances of electric, magnetic, and mixed types. The resonance wavelengths initially change rapidly, but later stabilize, with respect to the film thickness. The center wavelength of the Bragg regime is unlikely to be resonant.
