Abstract

The article makes the point that teachers learn to teach technical writing by learning what good technical writing is and how technical writing is done by those who do it for a living. Such learning requires the teacher to tap every available resource, and this article tells what those resources are. Among the resources discussed are books and journals, libraries, off-campus contacts, professional organizations, and others.
