Abstract
A reversal of the Bragg phenomenon is shown to exist theoretically in a right/left-handed ferrocholesteric slab with negative real permittivities and permeabilities. In addition to the promise of isotropic homogeneous materials with negative real permittivities and permeabilities for unexpected applications, the data given emphasize the similar potential of anisotropic inhomogenous materials with analogous characteristics.
