Abstract

Avert.org, the website of the Avert charity, is a global information and education resource on HIV and AIDS which sets the standard for HIV/AIDS consumer health websites. Its general flow sets the stage for an easy to use and accessible resource. The site strives to be inclusive, non-biased, and filled with nothing but the best, evidence-based information about the HIV/AIDS epidemic. Their outreach extends to consumers, educators, and professionals, and is a solid source for any age group, population, or region.
