Abstract

Level shifters (LS) are used at the voltage domain interfaces to mitigate sneak path current. It has been noted that LSs can experience wide operating voltage during operation which can subsequently affect its functionality and speed. We propose low-power self-collapsed LS to mitigate the contention and enable wide voltage range operation. The proposed self-collapsed LS improves the worst case speed from 6%-24% and even 89% in some cases.
