Abstract

An overview is given on the efforts of a dedicated clinical team in identifying patients with potential to be weaned, study and track ventricular recovery through non-invasive means, and plan the weaning protocol through to ventricular assist device (VAD) explant. This dedicated team expedites weaning trials and ensures greater consistency in the studies.
