Abstract
We studied 49 boys and girls with delayed physical sexual maturation during treatment with sex steroids. We found significant agreements, but also some disagreements between physicians' and subjects' Tanner sexual maturity ratings. We found neither effects of treatment with sex steroids nor gender differences, comparing ratings between physicians and patients. Copyright (C) 1999 Society for Adolescent Medicine.
