Abstract

The versatility of sol-gel processing in the preparation of fine ceramic powders has been extended to technologically important electroceramic powders such as Pb(Mg1/3Nb2/3)O3, YBa2Cu3O7_xand fresnoite. Fine (<0.2 pm) powders in these systems were obtained at temperatures as low as -750°C through the sol-gel processing.
