abstract = "Palladium hydride is of interest for hydrogen storage applications because of the ability of palladium to absorb large quantities of hydrogen. Palladium hydride is also superconducting with a superconductivity transition temperature that depends on the atomic ratio of hydrogen to palladium. Palladium Hydride is usually synthesized by reaction with H2 at high pressures or by electrolysis in solution. In this study, we have converted palladium to palladium hydride in polyol solution using NaBH4 as a hydrogen source. We have investigated the shape control and dispersibility of the palladium hydride nanocrystals during the conversion reaction, as well as the effect of palladium particle size on the reaction temperature and hydrogen content.",
