Abstract
This Letter investigates the flow a thin film of a PTT fluid, having zero solvent viscosity, in two cases: (i) down a vertical cylinder and (ii) on a vertically moving belt. In both cases exact analytical solutions of the resulting nonlinear equations are obtained. Expressions for important physical quantities such as velocity profile, volume flux and average velocity are also given.
