Abstract
Field drying tests were conducted to determine major design criteria for spray application of a potassium carbonate solution to speed the drying of alfalfa. Drying rate was significantly increased as the carrier (water) application rate was increased, but it was not affected by an increase in concentration of potassium carbonate in the solution.
