Abstract
Step 10: Showcasing Your Organization's Talent Beyond Organizational Borders Showcasing your talent in the community you are effecting change within is essential. Words, billboards, and TV ads are not enough to effect change. Allowing people to volunteer in a community (i.e., at a local food bank) helps to promote the change. This also shows the community that an organization is committed to change and not just using the engagement as a promotional opportunity. This chapter will discuss the importance of showcasing talent, steps to develop a showcasing strategy, and will also identify essential elements to consider.
