Abstract

The paper gives a procedure to measure altitude profiles of microstructural parameters of atmospheric aerosols by combined multi-frequency lidar and radiometric observations. Field data on concentration profiles of aerosol fractions measured in 2002 to 2003 under usual aerosol conditions and under atmospheric pollution by smoke and Saharan dust outbursts are presented.
