Abstract

The branches of the axillary artery offer a great resource for use as recipient in microsurgical flap reconstruction. The current chapter describes the applied anatomy of the subscapular, circumflex scapular, thoracodorsal, and lateral thoracic vessels as well as surgical technique for their exposure.
