Abstract

In this chapter, the work that has been reviewed in this monograph is summarized briefly. Several general conclusions are drawn regarding appropriate choices of spectral models and RTE solution methods, and on the importance of TRI in turbulent combustion. Finally, important remaining open questions are noted, and possible future directions for advanced radiation modeling are proposed.
