Abstract
Evidence for a ternary FDPase-Mn(II)-fructose-1-P complex is derived from 31P and 13C nmr measurements. Preliminary estimates of phosphorus and carbon to Mn(II) distances suggest that the oxygen at C-1 is coordinated to the metal ion in both the binary and ternary complex.
