Abstract

Historically, a myriad of surgical options have been available and considered in the management of pulmonary hypertension. In this chapter, we review current surgical techniques used in patients with pulmonary hypertension including lung and heart-lung transplantation, mechanical circulatory support, thromboendarterectomy, and other interventional options.
