Abstract
A p-n type Ag3PO4/NaTaO3 composite photocatalyst was synthesized via a facile process and its crystalline nature, morphology and optical properties were characterized. The photocatalytic properties of Ag3PO4/NaTaO3 composites were investigated by degrading Rhodamine B (RhB)dye molecules under visible light irradiation. The photocatalytic experimental results indicated that Ag3PO4/NaTaO3 composites possessed excellent photocatalytic performance under visible light irradiation. Moreover, the possible mechanism of photocatalytic degradation of dyes by Ag3PO4/NaTaO3 composites was proposed.
