Abstract

It is shown that a range of ZnO particle sizes and shapes can be crystallized from Zn nitrate under aqueous conditions with and without the use of microwaves. Zinc oxide particles of various sizes and shapes were prepared under aqueous conditions using microwaves. The results indicates that size and shape of ZnO can be easily controlled.
