Abstract

Telecommunication plays an increasingly important role in most of the technological disciplines. Thus, it has become important for the technical specialists in different fields of technology to acquire training and education in the fundamentals of telecommunications. Since the modern telecommunications systems are becoming increasingly dependent on computers for the transmission, reception, and processing of data, it is important to integrate computer-based concepts into telecommunications training and education courses/programs.
