Abstract

The benefits of tech Prep Program for engineering students are discussed. According to an agreement, students meeting the specified requirements upon graduation from high school are automatically granted admission to Penn State Erie. On first day of the camp students assembled the Alpha rocket, on second and third day students rotated through lectures and laboratories on various topics. The model rocketry theme provides a means to pull together various disciplines, present technology and keep it fun and interesting for high school students.
