Abstract
The Teotihuacán state expanded throughout Central Mexico around A.D. 200 creating a large sustaining hinterland for the support of its large urban centre. Teotihuacán influence is very strong at this time along the Rio Amatzinac in eastern Morelos and it is accompanied by sizeable regional population restructuring which helps shed light on the nature of its administrative system outside the Valley of Mexico.
