title = "The effect of anthropomorphization and gender of a robot on human-robot interactions",
abstract = "The popularity of assistant robots has increased in the recent past. Past research has looked at the effect of anthropomorphization of robots and considered the consumers{\textquoteright} gender as an important factor. However, research has not examined the interaction between a robot{\textquoteright}s gender and its level of anthropomorphization on human-robot interactions. Our results indicate that males and females perceive a service failure differently depending upon the level of anthropomorphization of the robots involved in the failure.",
