Abstract
Instantaneous cold shock experiments were conducted on five species acclimated to 2 temperatures between 24 and 36oC. The species, lethal temperature, and acclimation temperatures were: Notemigonus crysoleucas, 12oC at both 30 and 25oC; Notropis analostanus, 6 and 12oC at 24 and 30oC respectively; Rhinichthys atratulus, 6oC at both 24 and 28oC; Lepomis gibbosus, 12 and 18oC at 30 and 36oC, respectively; and Micropterus salmoides, 12oC at both 30 and 36oC. -from Sport Fishery Abstracts
