Abstract

A model of a three pomeron contribution to high energy elastic pp and p̄p scattering is proposed. The data are well described for all momenta (0.01 ≤ |t| ≤ 14. GeV²) and energies (8. ≤ s^1/2 ≤ 1800. GeV) (Χ²/d.o.f. = 2.60). The model predicts the appearance of two dips in the differential cross-section which will be measured at LHC. The parameters of the pomeron trajectories are α(0)_P1 = 1.058, α′(0)_P1 = 0.560 GeV^-2; α(0) _P2 = 1.167, α′(0)_P2 = 0.273 GeV^-2; α(0)_P3 = 1.203, α′(0)_P3 = 0.094 GeV ^-2.
