Abstract

The dispersion approach to the deuteron is developed which is in the straight forward correspondence both with quantum mechanics and the parton model. The deep inelastic eD struction function in the region forbidden for scattering from free nucleon is calculated in agreement with the recent Stanford experiment. An explanation of the cumulative effect is given.
