Abstract

A mathematical study is made of the transition from a one-component kinetic model to a local-equilibrium one in diffusion-limited metasomatism as the rate constants for a reversible reaction increase. The theoretical results are illustrated by computer calculations. (Journal summary)-A.W.H.
