Abstract
This paper presents the analysis of the process of blade coating for non-isothermal viscoplastic Casson fluid along with MHD. The equations of the motion after non-dimensionlization are simplified by making use of the lubrication approximation theory (LAT). The nature of the existing steady solutions has been investigated with the help of the combination of exact and numerical methods. Those obtained exact solutions include the solutions for the velocity profile, volumetric flow rate, pressure gradient and the temperature distribution. Furthermore, the maximum pressure, pressure distribution and load are also computed which are much important quantities by engineering point of view. Some of the results are shown graphically, while the others are given in tabulated form. It has been observed and concluded that the magnetic field parameter and the viscoplastic parameter serve as the controlling parameters which is very useful in the blade coating process.
