Thyroid Nodule

Research output: Chapter in Book/Report/Conference proceedingChapter

Abstract

Thyroid nodules are common in the general population, and approximately 7% are found on physical examination. More often than not they are identified incidentally with imaging for other disease processes. The prevalence of nodules increases with age and is higher in women than men. Due to the large incidence of thyroid nodules, a concise algorithm to the approach of thyroid nodules is important.
