N2 - The researcher working in the field of augmentative and alternative communication (AAC) faces many challenges. Individuals with an interest in AAC research are geographically dispersed, often it is difficult to engage the participation of all of the potential stakeholders, and there are significant challenges in communicating the findings to the interested parties in an appropriate manner.
