N2 - Using two impulsive maneuvers of fixed magnitudes, transfers between two circular orbits are possible only for certain thrust directions. This paper develops the feasibility domain for the two impulses, and criteria for determining the thrust directions. Two theorems, concerning the number of possible final orbits that are circular and their radii, are proven. These are applied to an example optimization problem involving a minimum change in orbital radius during the transfer.
