note = "Funding Information: While we were not fortunate enough to meet Michel, much of who we are as researchers and mentors of our own graduate students stems from his teachings and philosophy. These teachings, now passed down through texts and oral recollections, are akin to the mythical traditions of human civilization, giving guidance to the younger generations on the meaning of kinetics, because that is, in fact, the truth. Michel concluded his PhD dissertation from Princeton University with a quote from T.S. Eliot “all our knowledge brings us nearer to our ignorance;” luckily for us, we have his knowledge to guide us through our ignorance. We also thank Professor Enrique Iglesia and Dr. William Knaeble for judicious contributions to the scientific story and scholarly writing in the original and reexamined forms.",
