Abstract

Criteria for good library instruction practices were applied to Web-based tutorials selected by the ALA Library Instruction Round Table. Face-to-face instruction and the online environment do not always lend themselves to exact parallels, yet in some respects the traditional criteria can guide librarians in developing good online instruction.
