Abstract
While thoracic injuries in children occur infrequently, a high index of suspicion based on mechanism of injury and presenting signs and symptoms should guide disposition. This chapter will present two cases of children following blunt chest trauma, and discuss the initial assessment and management utilizing an evidence-based approach.
