Abstract
To the Editor: It is with considerable concern that we read the report on adult height and fertility in men with congenital adrenal hyperplasia, by Urban et al.1 The authors demonstrated that the mean height of their patients was significantly lower than that of American men and that their patients’ “chronologic age (or bone age) at the initiation of glucocorticoid therapy did not seem to influence adult height.” In addition, they were unable to “ascertain the level of control maintained during childhood and adolescence or the degree of compliance.” We have demonstrated that control is possible with existing methods and.
