Abstract

A report is presented on trivial pursuit and information technology (IT) applicant exams. Companies use various testing instruments to evaluate job applicants for skills, knowledge and even personality. Candidate exams range widely, including programming tests, exam-like tests, situation analysis and trivia tests that purport to test critical-thinking skills.
