Ultrafast solute vibrational spectral evolution during the solvation process

Research output: Contribution to journalArticlepeer-review

Abstract

Using femtosecond infrared spectroscopy, the rate and degree of frequency shift in the CO stretch of Re(dmbpy)(CO)3Cl in its MLCT excited state is found to vary with the polarity and solvation time in a series of solvents.
