Abstract
We presents a novel optical strategy to measure twitch characteristics of a single cell when the live cell is embedded in a viscous nourish solution. The key point of the new system is to detect the micro fluid velocity induced by single cell's contraction. It is a small step toward understanding a broken heart by building a model to try out a fast test for heart disease.
