title = "Using the partial wave method for mode-sorting of elastodynamic guided waves",
abstract = "The Partial Wave Method (PWM) is often used to calculate the dispersion curves of an anisotropic waveguide or as a part of the Transfer Matrix Method and the Global Matrix Method for calculating the dispersion curves for layered waveguides. However, PWM can be used for a variety of other useful applications, such as mode-sorting. In this paper, the theory is briefly described with a discussion on how this type of mode-sorting can be implemented. Examples are provided with a discussion of limitations and future applications.",
