Abstract
A model that can be used to predict the turbulence velocity spectrum and correlation function given the k-ε output of a CFD solution is presented. The model is most accurate in the inertial sub-range because of the assumption of isotropy, as demonstrated for a turbulent boundary layer. Since the model is based on the turbulence energy spectrum, it is reasonably independent of the class of flow.
