Abstract

Accurate prediction of thermal and transport properties of natural gases is very important in the design and operation of pipelines. Viscosity is one such property. This work presents an assessment of several theoretically based viscosity prediction methods. In this study seven natural gas mixtures are used. Comparison with experimental data shows the effectiveness of each model.
