Abstract
Seismic reflection techniques showed a meters-thick layer beneath Ice Stream B which field work showed to be water-saturated and unconsolidated, with low effecive pressure and high porosity. This part uses the known and inferred characteristics of Ice Stream B to make specific hypotheses about that ice stream. -after Authors
