Abstract
I have been the beneficiary for many years of the wisdom that my colleague, Dr. Lawrence Phillips, has distilled into this section through his astute summaries of the neuromuscular literature. It is with enthusiasm and gratitude, but with some trepidation, that I assume this responsibility at the request of the Editor in Chief as Dr. Phillips moves on to other responsibilities. I hope that readers continue to find this section useful.
