Abstract
This study reports quantitative and qualitative findings from three participants who converted from Judeo-Christian to Muslim faith in the John Templeton Foundation (JTF)-funded study of religious/spiritual experience and positive youth development. Quantitative results of measures of attachment, tolerance for ambiguity, well-being, and civic involvement produced distinct profiles for each case. Qualitative case studies confirmed that each participant converted for positive but different reasons and each is on a distinctive developmental trajectory.
