WHY DO SOME INFANTS FEED POORLY AND WHAT INTERVENTIONS ARE BEST FOR THESE INFANTS AND THEIR PARENTS?

Research output: Chapter in Book/Report/Conference proceedingChapter

Abstract

In normal infant feeding, satiety and comfort reinforce regular cycles of hunger and successful eating. However in some infants, this cycle is disrupted or may never develop. For parents, the feeding of one’s infant can be a rewarding experience, but for parents of children who exhibit feeding problems, it can be a frustrating and stressful experience.
